Dubailand is the one of the most ambitious projects in the world. Twice the size of Disney World in Florida, it will be home to a diverse range of attractions, hotels, shopping and sports facilities including 24 theme parks such as The Restless planet, a dinosaur theme park, Six Flags and Marvel Entertainment’s Super Heroes theme park. Other exciting leisure attractions due to open at Dubailand include Legoland, Universal Studios’ Universal City and Dubai Sports City. Dubai Sports City will feature a huge state of the art stadium and sports facilities such as Dubai Golf City which will house no less than five world-class signature courses including Tiger Wood’s first golf course, the Al Ruwaya course.

The Arabian Canal will be the world's longest man-made canal, at 75 km long. The excavation of the Arabian Canal will start near the Dubai Marina area flowing inland around the massive area planned for Jebel Ali International Airport and will wind its way to enter the sea once again at the outer end of Palm Jebel Ali. click here

On the Road

A forthcoming integrated transport system is set to revolutionise transport in Dubai with projects to link road networks, waterways, buses, taxis and a new metro and tram system with the aim of providing seamless travel around the emirate. Air access to Dubai will also take a leap forward with the further development of Dubai International Airport and the new Al Maktoum International Airport which will be capable of handling up to 150 million passengers a year.
